Privacy Policy

Who is responsible for your information

LifeCome HMO Nigeria Limited is responsible for the personal information collected through this website and its enquiry forms. We are wholly owned by EmergX Capital Partners UK Limited. LifeCome Health & Benefits Limited UK is a separate sister company.

This policy covers website visits, enquiries, expressions of interest, launch-update subscriptions, complaints and provider or organisational enquiries. Future membership and healthcare services will require further information about the processing relevant to those services before enrolment opens.

Information we collect

We collect the contact information you choose to provide, including your name, email address, optional telephone number, organisation, location, service interests and enquiry message. Provider enquiries may include business contact details and a summary of facility services. We also process form-submission records, communication preferences and technical information needed to operate and protect the website, such as IP addresses and security logs.

Please do not submit health records, diagnoses, identity documents, payment details, children’s personal information or information identifying proposed beneficiaries. Those details are not requested for an expression of interest.

Why we use information

We use enquiry information to respond to requests, manage expressions of interest, assess organisational or provider enquiries, handle complaints and maintain records of our communications. We use limited technical information to maintain website functionality, security and abuse prevention.

Our lawful basis

We rely on our legitimate interests in responding to relevant enquiries and operating a secure website, where those interests do not override your rights. Where you request steps towards a future contractual arrangement, we may process information necessary for those steps. We rely on consent for optional email updates and process information where necessary to comply with applicable legal obligations.

Optional updates

We send launch updates and service news to people who opt in. You can withdraw that consent through the unsubscribe option in a message or by contacting us through the privacy enquiry route. Withdrawing marketing consent does not prevent us from responding to a separate enquiry you have made.

Who may recieve information

Access is limited to people and service providers who need information for the relevant purpose, including authorised staff and suppliers supporting website hosting, forms, email and administration. We may disclose information to professional advisers or competent authorities where necessary and lawful. We do not sell enquiry information.

Common ownership does not give our parent or sister company unrestricted access to your information. Any sharing must have a specific lawful purpose and appropriate safeguards. We do not add you to another company’s marketing list merely because you contact us.

International Processing

Some technology or administrative support may involve processing outside Nigeria. Where this occurs, the transfer must meet applicable Nigerian data-protection requirements and use appropriate safeguards. You may ask us about the arrangements relevant to your information through the privacy enquiry route.

How long we retain information

We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected, including responding to an enquiry, maintaining a requested update subscription and meeting applicable legal obligations. Retention decisions take account of when an enquiry closes, the last relevant contact, withdrawal of consent and any unresolved complaint or legal requirement. Information that is no longer required is deleted or anonymised.

Security

We apply access controls and appropriate organisational and technical measures to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Please avoid including sensitive information in ordinary website messages.

Cookies and similar technologies

This pre-launch website uses only cookies or storage necessary for its operation and security. Optional analytics, advertising and third-party tracking are disabled. If optional technologies are introduced, information about them and appropriate choices will be provided before they are used.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to your personal information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing or portability. You may object to relevant processing, withdraw consent and ask for an explanation of how your information is used. We may need proportionate information to verify a request. Please do not send identity documents unless we explain why they are needed and provide a suitable route.

Children and other people's information

Our enquiry forms are intended for adults acting for themselves or as authorised organisational representatives. Expressions of interest for family services should use approximate numbers and locations without identifying children or other beneficiaries.

Privacy enquiries and complaints

Use our Contact Us form and select Privacy request. Describe your request without including unnecessary sensitive information. You also have the right to complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission through its official channels at https://ndpc.gov.ng/.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the website or our services develop. Material changes will be brought to your attention where required. Additional privacy information will be provided before new services collect different categories of personal information.
