Managed care brings together health-plan administration, access to healthcare providers and support for using benefits. LifeCome HMO Nigeria Limited is developing this approach for its proposed Nigerian services.
Before enrolment
Prospective members will need clear information about eligibility, benefits, limits, exclusions, waiting periods, fees and participating providers before choosing a plan.
Accessing care after launch
Under the proposed model, eligible members would use participating healthcare providers in accordance with their plan. Some services may require a referral or prior authorisation, as explained in the final plan documents.
Administration and support
Planned administration includes membership records, benefit enquiries, provider guidance, claims coordination and complaints handling. Digital functions will be introduced only when available and ready for use.
Quality and confidentiality
Provider assessment and service feedback will support quality oversight. Clinical decisions remain the responsibility of appropriately qualified healthcare professionals, and personal information must be handled on a lawful basis.
Current availability
This model is being prepared. Final HMO licence approval is pending, and this website currently accepts enquiries and expressions of interest only.
